LIFE CHANGING ENCOUNTERS PART 1

ENCOUNTER WITH APOSTLE JOSHUA SELMAN NIMMAK

 

After my conversion into the faith in January 1, 2010, i had a series of experiential walking with God but a very little knowledge of the person of the Holy Spirit. I came from a background that never teaches about the baptism of the Holy Spirit or the speaking in tongues in prayers. All that i have knew was that when we have very intense prayers, some will prophesy speaking in other language and interprets. I never heard of the other kind of tongues that people speak to edifies themselves. Or let me say that i have heard of it but didn’t understand it purpose and as such trivialize it. Although i could work in the gift of the Holy spirit in discerning things and predicting future occurrences including the questions that will be out in WAEC exams. I don’t know how it works and i don’t know what it was called but i knew this manifestation is part of me.

Then after passing all my papers and getting admitted into department of Accounting at Ahmadu Bello University Zaria, i was invited on the 10^th of November, 2011 to start registration in the School. And on the 14^th of November, 2011 i got to A.B.U. for registrations and my plan was to finish up with the registration within that week and get back home for a program in Lokoja. I never knew that week was a week that destiny needs to be decided. I got frustrated during the registration process that i had to stay an additional week.

On Saturday, 20^th November, 2011, i was at Love Garden opposite Alex/Ribadu Hostel in A.B.U. Main Campus, Samaru, Zaria. I was eating “kose” (beans cake) and bread in the garden and watching how the students were interlocking each other. Then suddenly, two guys stood before me asking if i had given my life to Jesus. The way i replied them quoting scriptures gave them conviction that i do. After then they both left and i continue with my eating. One of these two guys came back by the name Lawrence Shekinah Ujah and he asked if i was filled with the Holy Spirit. After few arguments, i was convicted that i needed this baptism.

I received the gift in no time as soon as he started praying in other tongues and i landed on the floor. How i got there, i didn’t know but i spoke for hours. It was the best thing that happens to me and i lost appetite for kose and bread and ran into my room praying. Meanwhile before departing from Lawrence, he invited me to a program to meet his spiritual Father, Apostle Joshua Selman. I got to the room; everyone was talking about Joshua Selman. I got interested in knowing who he is and why so much importance about him.

The next Tuesday, i was on my way back home with my cousin Seun Omonijo and a big brother Victor Jimoh when we met Apostle and his friends. That was my first time of meeting him. I couldn’t see anything spectacular about him because of his simple dressing and look. He was very slim and look very innocent, one can hardly believe such a person carry much of God. When i was told, this man is the Apostle Joshua Selman has been longing to meet; i was a bit discourage, however i gave it a chance for the sake of Brother Lawrence and others who spoke about him.

On the 26^th of November 2011, i finally went for Koinonia and i was sitting at the back. I had burden in my heart, my house had just been demolished by Ibrahim Idris Government in Kogi State and My Dad has not been paid for months. I had other things running in my head and as such couldn’t concentrate to the teachings. Since it was Miracle Service, Apostle began to minister to the sick and giving prophecy. Then Eternity Network International (ENI) program Koinonia is grace with other ministers like Prophet Jagfa, Manasseh, Jesse about five of them with Joshua Selman.

At the back i was sitting, i just head if your name is Stephen comes out. Apostle spelled it that it is not the one with V that is STEVEN but the one with PH, STEPHEN. About five of us were out that day and he gave prophecy to all except me. Then i got discourage again because that have been the case. When Prophet sees visions about people, they hardly have a word for me. So, i concluded i have no business with Koinonia. Then Jagfa, the slimmest among them request that i come back that i shouldn’t be discourage that Apostle didn’t see anything about me but he has a word from God for me and that word was an open door for my family. I could attest that he spoke by the Spirit of God.

My experience with koinonia became the beginning of my new life as i began to speak in tongues everywhere i go and giving word of knowledge. I could remember visiting one of my favourite junior, Blessings Mosugu and after speaking she said “is like senior Stephen has started seeing visions o”. I was drunk by that experience. Then i became consistent listening to the messages of koinonia finishing 2011 and 2012 messages. Then one day while listening to one of the messages, “Walking in Purpose”, i slept of and that very day what i saw defined my entire life. I use to guess what my purpose is but that vision confirmed my predictions. I grew in the knowledge of God via the instrumentality of Koinonia tapes and today myself is a minister of the Gospel.

 

I became a Student of ENI School OF Ministry (ENI/SOM) in 2014 for six months. The teaching there help confirmed all that the Holy Spirit taught me in the secret place. I learnt new things about leadership especially the five levels of leadership, that is, positional, relational, productivity, reproductive, and absolute loyalty. I learnt so much about the anointing and ministry and that marks other spectacular experiences with God. Kingdom Summit Prayer group on Campus was as a result of the fire i capture from Koinonia and Prayer Network. The graduation in SOM and the anointing place on me by Apostle Joshua Selman changes everything.

Till date, Apostle Joshua Selman has been blessing my soul with all necessary information and revelations for spiritual growth. Thank you, Apostle for aligning with God; and becoming a colossal of divine possibility reality. You remain a mentor and i always desire to develop a better relationship with you sir.
