A REVELATORY STUDY OF THE LIFE OF PASTOR E.A ADEBOYE
In view of the seasons as many members of The Redeemed Christian Church
Of God celebrates the General Overseers of the Church popularly refers
as Daddy G.O, I'm persuaded by revelation and knowledge to share this
impacting message to those who are willing to see a remarkable results
in their christian life. Adeboye may not be 100% accurate with his
theological philosophy and may not have such charisma to interest youths
to love listening to his messages but without controversy, we all know
he is the most influential cleric in Nigeria and one of the most
influential people in the world.It took me time to take a study and
note about this great man. A man took over a ministry at her infant
stage and brought it to the limelight. Every time, we have heard and see
spectaculars miracles of which its testimonies are in every
broadcasting medias. He has become a leader to whom absolute loyalty has
be accorded by his congregations to the extent that no matter what
anyone says against him, several discards it. I will love to point out
the ancients mystery that has brought this man to this height.
I SPEAK OF PRAISE, Baba is known which the saying "somebody shout hallelujah". Hallelujah shout was a very common saying when Babalola, Orimolade and their counterpart were conveying the 1930s to 1940s revivals. But as at when Baba took over, many that shout hallelujah do it as a culture and not a revelations. He took it as his own favorite saying that as a kid, when i heard that word, i know Adeboye is preaching. Hallelujah is the highest level of praise according to the Jewish traditions. They are several Greeks and Hebrews words translated as praise, Judah is one of it; but hallelujah is the highest and it is the secrets of great-men in the bible. David sings and dances to God all through his life, Solomon build a temple and praise God that even the priest couldn't minister (2 Chron 5), Hezekiah won a battle with choristers, Joshua bring down Jericho with a shout. Praise causes God to invade the environment where the praise comes from.
I SEE HUMILITY, Many people want to copy Baba and kneel down when they come on stage to preach. Many Redeemed members turned tries to mimic Baba by kneeling down before preaching but in their heart is a huge storey building of prides. It is not by the kneeling down but the consistency of this man for over 20 years provoke my respect for him. He will always acts in a way that even if he was found with fault among men, it shouldn't be with God. Always ready to sacrifice anything and wouldn't associate possessiveness to what people claim he has. He is open to everyone and from the information i gather, he personally reply every letters sent to him irrespective of who sent it. Some arrogant preachers haven't gotten to this height when they started telling the world their achievement in cities they went to and included little lies to make the story interesting. An humble preacher listen and obey the voice of the Holy Spirit and they are known for their holy living.
I MET FASTING, i heard during the December holy ghost service last year 2017, that Baba didn't eat any food and he didn't sleep. Some youth of the church were telling of how they saw him one night during their youth convention with his dogs moving and praying throughout the night round the Redeemed Camp. This is something i heard he does almost every day. The level at which he prays, fast has made some members concludes that he does eat. Consistency in this acts brought about this immeasurable dimension of grace.
In conclusion, there might be other things i might not have insight to, but i know that every great men that shakes this earth especially the shore of this nations has this attribute. Babalola is a deadly faster, he fast like something i can't compare him with, he prays to the extent that a snake walked on him unnoticed until the seventh day when he opened his eyes to see the demise of the snakes dried up. Babalola humility did not make him ascribes himself as the president of the church even though he founded it. "Hallelujah meje" was his frequent proclamation. Babalola reads and praise the psalmist from chapter 1 to 150 daily reciting it. What shall we say of Orimolade who refuses to marry for the sake of the gospel, a fast from the normal human life of marriage. These men makes impact and we can do same. Before Baba go join the other clouds of witnesses, the coming revival lies in our hands let us prepare, pray, praise, live holy and humble. Take this to heart, the end-time revival is at hand.
