Late last to early January this year, a lot of challenges came before me as a battle. I was face with issues of faith and trust, such that Paul will describe as being face with the lion of Ephesus. While trusting God for help and praying for a way out of the challenges, a scripture opened up in my spirit and it was Psalm 46. I read the entire chapter and pondered on it. Then, this revelation unveil to me.
"God is in the midst of her; she shall not be moved: God shall help her, and that right early."Psalms 46:5
I don't know the situation you are facing right now, i don't know how tough the situation is. It might be confusion, sickness, lack, emptiness, depression, loneliness or spiritual weakness etc. Though the situation sounds so tough for you to bear but know certainly that God is in the midst of you, you can't be move.
The first part of the scriptures was describing God as our refuge and strength. He is our safety place, the place could hide for protection from all evil and anxiety. In my unemployed state, repeatedly failed state, in my uncreative state, unhappy state or even on the sick bed; he is my resting/preservative/protection place and he is my strength. This is why i can do all things through Christ that strengthen me. He is my ever present help in time of trouble. He is not a pass or future help, but present help. He is ever on time. Though, the results may not be seen in a year or two but he is still on time. Is the brother not coming, is the job no showing, is the healing not coming, forget about the issues and focus on the man that issue the help.
Though the earth may shake, the mountains may move and taken to the sea. The waters and the rivers may roar and trouble. We are a river, whose streams make glad the city of God. We make glad the Holy tabernacle of God. God is in the midst of us (the river), we shall not be move. God will help us right early. Forget about the issues and the complaint of people, it is not your business. God has decided to keep you from panicking and surprise you. Let people be running from Prophets to Herbalist to men here and there, stay with him, he will answer and help you right early.
Never let anyone pull you off your stand, do not let your faith being shaken and never give up on God. He is in your midst, you shall not be shaken.
For The Lord of hosts (Sabboath) is with us, the God of Jacob is our refuge. Praise God.
