THE EVIDENCE OF LOVE

"For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." -John 3:16.

We all always want to express our feelings to our love ones, we want to share with them how we care, and always want to speak it out to the world sothat they will know. But love has one language that most people ignore because they are not really in true or divine love.

Love is express in giving. Gifts are the evidence of our intention. God loves the world and he gave his son. The Bible didn't say that he love the world and anyone who believe in the love will not perish. But the message is "God love the world that he gave his son, that whosoever believe in the son (the gift) will not perish". You don't believe in love abstractly, you do through the gift. This is the the reason why we are save by grace through faith.

Faith required evidence to prove existence. Grace is the evidence that God's love exist. Grace is not just unmerited favour, even if you get something by merit it is still the function of grace. You can fast and pray to get spiritual power or growth, even as that, your price can be a waste if grace doesn't permit the results you received.

"Charis" translated as grace originally means "God's gift of Love". It is the expression of his inner feelings for human race. God is so interested in human project that he could give anything to get the attention and love of men. My message this morning is simple, what gift do you give to express your love. Stop letting people believe in dead love or suspended love, let your love be seen and tangible.

Apostle John in one of his letters says "do not love in word alone but also in deed". Love require action. How much of you can you give to your spouse, how much can you give to your parents, how much can you sacrifice for your children, or how much can you give to your friends. The best love relationship is a child and mother love. The woman can sacrifice her life for the children. If you say you love him or her, what length can you go in doing that.

Notice, God gave his only begotten son. Giving for love sake usually doesn't expect a response of gift. Even if a gift will be a response, mostly it is nothing in measure to what was originally given. Do not give your virginity for a pack of indomie, that's not love but stupidity. Do not give your heart for a beating training, it is not love but a military training. Do not give your attention to deceivers, it is not love but lying camp. Measure the value of the love show before responding and measure it before you give yours. If you can't give your all, you are not in love. Love is about giving even if there's no returns.

Finally, i will expressly say love is divine move and feeling of making sacrifice for and protecting someone without a feeling of corruption. Don't be just a taking lover, also try to be a giving lover. Asking her for sex or demanding her nude or anything sinful acts from your partner is an act of taking and not giving. So, do not just be taking, also give. And do not take unlawful, no sex before marriage. Let all you do on love expression be within the law of the Spirit. I love you all and that's the reason I'm giving this. God bless you.
